What is a right? The dictionary defines a right as: the power or privilege to which one is justly entitled. Rights are simply natural rules every person should live by to ensure happiness and fairness in our society. The rights that most hold true to the heart are the right of property and right of religion.
The right of property is a touchy subject to most people because it can mean so many different things; it holds a deeper meaning to some than to others. Freedom of property means that one is entitled to own as much or little property as one wishes and use it in such a manner that is not illegal. Property is sacred in the eyes of the beholder. However, in today's society, freedom of property is being downgraded simply to paperwork in the form of a property deed. Property is passed down through generations in some families.
