Genocide is the systematic and planned extermination of an entire national, racial, political or ethnic group. It is evident in history in many ways beginning during the Holocaust right up until the Civil Rights Movement. It is evident that racial profiling is a controversial issue. There are both positive and negative reasons to allow profiling. There are many contributing factors that cause racism and racial profiling, which range from the government to an individual who acts in a racist manner.

One positive aspect of racial profiling is that it can be helpful to our national security. Racial profiling would allow our countries' national security to screen certain individuals or double check personal identifications if they deemed it necessary. This would be beneficial in order to confirm that they are allowed into the country, or that there are no warrants out for the arrest of the individual in question. This type of profiling could prevent terrorist and illegal aliens......
