Roosevelt accomplished many things during his presidency, which implies that he had to have led the country to such success. He took charge by enforcing the Sherman Anti-Trust Act, the Newlands Act, the Elkins Rebate Act, the Monroe Doctrine in Venezuela, along with several others. He also settled national issues, including the infamous Coal Strike, along with enabling the construction of major sites, including, but not limited to, Crater National Lake, the Grand Canyon National Monument and the Panama Canal. Furthermore, Roosevelt proved his leadership after winning the Nobel Peace Prize in 1906.
