Why are celebrites getting away with breaking the law? This issue is having celebrities above the law. Seventy percent of people in the U.S. believe that celebrites shouldn't be above the law. In this essay I will be discussing how celebrities aren't above the law, how the preamble of the Constitution states that all should be treated equal) and how different standards shouldn't be set for people with status.
Many celebrities get away with bending the law such as Daryl Strawberry a famous baseball player who was accused of drug possession

10-15 chances as a normal person would have gotten 3 strikes. Kobe Bryant a famous basketball player rapped a woman under age and paid
her to drop the case. Ray Charles a famous singer was charged with drug possession
more than one , twice, or even three times......
