Truly Mr. Allen, I understood almost nothing of this book and the section that I was to read. Normally I am quite good at comprehending what takes place in various books, comprehension has always been a strong point of mine, but in the case of this book it was so poorly written in my opinion that I, the reader, could not be engrossed and could thus, not understand. On each page it seemed to be just a jumble of random names that meant nothing and an ever increasing number of jousts....to put it simply, it was rediculous. I will try to express to you some of what I got from it (and some notes that I was able to find), but be warned that the information I give will be quite sparse.
If I remember correctly the book began with the telling of King Mark and Alexander the orphan. Mark was jealous over the victory of another man and murdered him and then his family, but Alexander escapes and then returns to Mark as a man and a knight and attempts to murder......
