Dan Brown was born on June 22 in 1964. Brown grew up in Exeter, in a place called New Hampshire. He graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy in 1982. His mother Constance, also called Connie, was a professional musician. She plays organ at church. Brown's father Richard G. Brown taught high school mathematics at Phillips Exeter Academy from 1962 until his retirement in 1997. He has onebrother, his name is Gregory and one sister her name is Valerie. Dan moved to Los Angeles and pursued a career as a composer and musician without great success. Then he studied art history in Seville. In 1993 he returned to New Hampshire and took a teaching job at his old school. In 1995 Dan Brown and his wife, Blythe, an art historian, wrote yhe book: '187 Men to Avoid: A Guide for the Romantically Frustrated Woman'.
