Business values are in place to ensure success for the company first and the employees second. People come to a company with a set of values and ethics and as the company changes policies it can cause conflict. A person has to feel that the business they work for is a match with their personal values. Constant emotional conflict will hurt productivity, leads to greater employee turnover and can create financial problems for the company.
