Gas prices, good or bad?
Throughout our last brutal summer gas prices were as high as nearly $4 a gallon. After a while, the American people began to adapt to the rise, and take it with stride. Many smart individuals were beginning to make new alterations; therefore they would not have to sacrifice their pay check just to get to work. Many people blame this increase in price on the war in the Middle East but it is mostly because of the damage that hurricane Katrina had given us.
Today and everyday people around the US have seen the gas prices drop significantly from last summer. The most that we had spent on a gallon of gas was four dollars, but it has since then decreased by a half. Gas prices are as low as two dollars a gallon. The worst part about this new gas price trend, is that Americans are now so excited about the decrease in cost that they do not realize that their gain, might as well be their loss.
